New line of the near transform-limited bandwidth OPOs enables efficient narrowing of output beam bandwidth to < 2 cm-1 and ensures < 7% output energy stability within 420-2300 nm wavelength range. The peak output energy exceeds 800 µJ per pulse. The system is pumped with 25 ps pulses of a specially designed dual output mode-locked PL 2140 series Nd: YAG laser. This system provides smooth and reliable operation with computer-controlled tuning. It opens new horizons for research requiring narrow bandwidth picosecond pulses.
