Extremely high peak power commercial laser works at 10 Hz repetition rate and delivers 1.3 J at 1064 nm (0.6 J at 532 nm) in 90 ps pulse. Laser system allows pulse output energy scaling up to 5 J at 1064 nm (2.4 J at 532 nm).
Possible seed laser configurations
Amplifier can be seeded with various picosecond laser sources, for example mode-locked oscillator, emitting pulses of few nanojoules at high repetition rate. Pulse duration can be in 30 - 90 ps range. Femtosecond mode-locked oscillator also can be used as seed source, allowing precise synchronisation of two laser sources.
